Vacationing is one of many people’s favorite activities for relaxing and recharging. While it may be nice to explore the world and travel to many different locations, for many travelers, there’s one place they like to return to each year.

Investing in real estate in your favorite locations is a great way to not only always have a vacation to look forward to, but also to build financial security over the years to come. Real estate, just like most everything else in life, is subject to economic fluctuation. However, investing in real estate has historically been shown to help individuals build financial wealth and security. 1. Connect with a real estate advisor who understands the lifestyle you’re after.

Most second-home buyers will start

Chicago woman snuck onto America Airlines flight without ticket en route to see Jay-Z: prosecutors

A Chicago woman skirted past several layers of security and somehow boarded a plane at O’Hare International Airport without a ticket, hoping to fly to Los Angeles to see rapper Jay-Z, prosecutors said.

Yaazmina Payton, 23, was arrested at the Chicago airport early Sunday after she was identified as the woman who “boarded an airplane without proper documentation,” police said in a statement.

Prosecutors told a judge Monday Payton was caught ducking under ropes at a Terminal 3 boarding door near the ticket gate of an American Airlines flight destined for Los Angeles when someone alerted a ticket agent, the Chicago Tribune reported.

Cargo Vessels and Cruise Ships Line Up for Scrapping

Cargo ships and cruise liners are being scrapped in growing numbers as operators hit by the fallout from the coronavirus pandemic look to turn their unemployed vessels into cash in the recycling market.

Car-carrying vessels and iron-ore haulers lead the burgeoning fleet heading for demolition. Cruise ships, still idled by the restrictions imposed at the start of the pandemic, are joining the lineup at ship-breaking yards, where the vessels are pulled apart for their steel.

The ship operators are trying to repair balance sheets that were battered by the global industrial downturn earlier this year, when factory shutdowns—starting in China and spreading throughout large parts of the world—brought a swath of shipping activity to a halt.

Vehicle sales crashed last spring along with the commodities market as China,

The Roofnest Falcon Makes Camping Convenient and Easy to Create Father/Son Memories

There’s a simple truth about life. You can split all of its variation and complexities into two categories: Things you can control and things you can’t. You can’t control a world pandemic, for example, or how it might spread around you. But you can control your own behavior, as well as how you spend your time during one.

I have a toddler son. His name is Harrison and he turned four in August. As original plans for a summer vacation eroded—out of my control—an opportunity came to give Harrison his first chance to try camping—in my control. After all, this year he reached an age that I felt he could start to appreciate camping. Get away from the house, experience different scenery, a different pace of life, enjoy something not requiring a screen.

Growing up in a camping family, I remember the campfires, marshmallows,

Turn your BMW adventure scooter into an art deco masterpiece

It’s one part practical transportation and one part art deco throwback.

It even looks great in colors!

So, here’s the thing. Most scooters aren’t very cool. Vespas get a pass, obviously. So too does the Honda Ruckus, because it’s weird and utilitarian. A Quadrophenia-cosplay-type Lambretta would also have my respect, but anything else? It’s going to be a tough sell.

Take the BMW C400x, for example. Is there anything particularly wrong or weird about it? Nope. It’s reasonable and affordable motorized transportation, of which, frankly, I’m a fan. I just can’t get over the inherent not-motorcycle-ness of it, though, which is why a concept from a company in Florida called NMoto has my stoke level pegged.

The kit was debuted recently and is called “Golden Age,” and as you can see from the images, it takes the humble C400x and transforms it into a piece of art deco

Canada added 84,000 jobs in October but accommodation and food services hurt by COVID-19

Canada’s job market added 84,000 jobs in October, as some provinces put restrictions in place to combat a rise in COVID-19 cases.

Although it’s the sixth-straight month of job growth and employment is approximately 80 per cent recovered, gains have decelerated after adding 378,000 jobs in September.

Employment in professional, scientific and technical services, educational services, and wholesale trade are back above pre-pandemic levels.

“It was always likely that employment would slow following the unexpectedly strong 378,000 increase in September, and an average of the gains in September and October matches that in August, despite the rise in COVID-19 case growth and the new restrictions,” said Capital Economics’ Stephen Brown.

“That is encouraging and supports our view that continued recoveries in the goods-producing and professional service sectors will keep pushing GDP higher in the fourth quarter, even as activity in some customer-facing sectors drops back.”

Most gains were in full-time
